Welcome To VacuumsAdvisor.com
Hi, my name is Maria Millando and I am the creator of this blog. I started this blog after my own experience when looking to purchase a new vacuum cleaner. There were so many options on the market, and finding the correct one for me became very demanding.
So, to help others find the information they require when considering what vacuum to buy, I started this blog. My aim is to create a place where all questions can be answered, and to compare the different vacuum cleaners on the market to help you make an informed decision.
A bit about me, I am married and have three young children. As a work at home mom, free time to spend with my family is important. So the quicker that my housework can be done the better.
A vacuum cleaner is one of the most essential cleaning machines that every household should have. Without a vacuum cleaner, you can’t imagine how hard it would be to clean your home. That’s why it’s important to choose carefully which one you purchase, as it is a big investment.
When I was investigating the best vacuum cleaner to buy for my needs, I found it to be very confusing. There are so many different types of vacuums. There are also different filters and some come with bags or are bagless.
So, I thought it would be helpful for many others to have one place to come to and be able to have all their questions asked when comparing the different brands and models of vacuums out there.
What Vacuum Cleaner to Buy?
The types of floor coverings that you have in your house will help determine which vacuum cleaner to purchase. Also, if someone in the household has allergies then you may need to consider the type of filter system the vacuum cleaner is fitted with.
Upright Vacuum Cleaners; Are the vacuum of choice for carpet flooring, especially if you have a shag carpet or rug. These vacuum cleaners are usually wider and have better suction compared to Canister Vacuum Cleaners.
Most homes have at least a couple of different types of floor coverings. So, it makes sense that we would like to be able to use one vacuum that is able to clean each surface. A canister vacuum cleaner is a better option if you have multiple floor coverings and stairs to vacuum.
If you are interested in having a vacuum cleaner that will clean the floors while you are at work or away for the day, then maybe a Robotic Vacuum cleaner is the one for you. They can be set and they will clean your floors and some brands will even go back to the dock and empty the dust bin.
Other options are Handheld Vacuums and Stick Vacuums, which are more light weight and good for those smaller emergencies and cleaning up of spills. They are good for getting into smaller areas and vacuuming out cars or stairs.
Other Factors to Consider before Buying a Vacuum Cleaner
Once this decision has been made then there is also the option of a bag or bagless vacuum. There are also different types of filter systems, which maybe important if any of your family members have allergies.
Also, consider the attachments that come with the vacuum cleaner or whether there are additional attachments for you to purchase later if you require one for a particular job. Different attachments will assist you when cleaning your home, cleaning floors, drapes, upholstery, and many other areas.
To make your task easy I have created VacuumsAdvisor, where you will find reviews, informative, and comparison articles between different types of vacuum cleaners so that you can choose your desired vacuum cleaner.
